Sooo I am thinking of a weekend getaway nothing fancy just something chill and nice..I am having some problems..I don't know if we should do a B&B or a reg chain. We normally do a chain..however we are very modern kids and I don't know if a chain would be the best for us. So for those of you out in Internet world who are reading I would love your thoughts on B&B's vs hotel chains..
Thanks and Good Day!

I've never been to a B&B but I have a great friend who frequents them. She likes the fact that they typically offer all the amenities of home. This home like atmosphere can also have drawbacks. One or two refrigerators are typically to be shared by the guests. Breakfast is almost always prepared by the hosts of the B&B (which can be good or so so)and dinner is sometimes an option that costs additional. I find with B&B's I have to watch the location. Many of them are not near many major tourist sites or city centers. B&B's in Europe tend to be a good way to go,but in America the chains can be good because you can select what amenities you want, and the locations are often near outlet malls, city centers, and amusement parks to entertain you. It also depends on what area you are looking at in the US. Some are better with B&B's (like Yellow Springs, OH) while others are good with chains (like Minneapolis, MN). Great post and blog!
